Hannah lifts top badminton prize

Hannah Wallace came out tops in the recent North Lanarkshire Primary Schools Badminton singles competition.

Hannah, a pupil of Cumbernauld Primary School, lifted the trophy at the competition held recently in East Kilbride.

Eleven-year-old Hannah, who is pictured above with Cumbernauld Primary School deputy headteacher Mrs Mosher and North Lanarkshire Leisure Trust’s badminton development officer David Johnston, has been a member of Cumbernauld Badminton Club for just over a year.

The talented youngsters is also a member of North Lanakrshire Leisure Trust’s badminton squad.
