Hockey ladies miss out on Europe slot
Women’s first team efforts to reach the European championships were thwarted by Dundee rivals Grove Menzieshill
Clydesdale Hockey club’s ladies first team were involved in some European play-off action last weekend. The 2013 Scottish Cup and European Trophy II league winners were up against Grove Menzieshill in a two-day shootout where they lost out on a European spot conceding 4-nil at home but winning 2-1 away to Dundee.
