Huge sum raised at Carluke Golf Club coffee morning

A fine turnout of members paid entry fees to attend the two-hour event which saw them enjoy some delicious hot mugs of coffee in aid of a fantastic cause.

Participating women gave donations and also bought pancakes and scones made by club caterer John McFarlane and home baking by former gents captain Alex Ramsay.

Past ladies captain Ann Young, who helped organise the event, said that Carluke lady golfers had supported Macmillan Cancer Support for several years.
