ICG volleyball coach Greg Coburn fears for Clydesdale talent
ALTHOUGH Team Lanarkshire’s ICG boys’ volleyball coach Greg Coburn is delighted that six of his Carluke High School students are in this year’s squad, he realises that this doesn’t reflect favourably on other schools in the area.
“The bulk of the squad being Carluke High boys means that the overall standard of volleyball in this area isn’t as good as I’d like,” Greg said.
“The next challenge is to develop the squad to make sure we are picking from a broader range of players.”
