John to be Clyde’s voice on Council

CLYDE will have a voice on the Scottish Football Association Council as director John Taylor has been appointed for a two year term.

Taylor was proposed for the role due to his position as secretary of the Glasgow Football Association.

He said: “I think it will have benefits for Clyde. It’s the type of thing where being part of it gives you inside knowledge of what’s going on and you’re also able to have an impact.

“It’s an exciting time because there were obviously very radical changes agreed recently which is very significant.

“All of those proposals were unanimously approved and I think that shows that everyone’s ready to embrace change in the game.”
