Kilsyth Rangers win Scottish Cup third-round place

KILSYTH Rangers are through to the third round of the Scottish Cup.

However, it was not an easy passage, after taking an early two goal lead they had to fight hard to keep the visitors at bay when they did pull one back.

Rangers relied on a passing game whereas Irvine were far more direct in their approach and might feel slightly aggrieved not have gained at least a replay.
