Kirstie Baird, Auchenheath, in U15 Scotland badminton team
LANARK YMCA badminton coach John Barrie has spoken of his pride that star pupil Kirstie Baird has been picked to play for Scotland under-15s in a quadrangular match against England, Ireland and Wales on April 30 and May 1.
Kirstie (14), of Auchnotroch Farm, Auchenheath, will play at number one for her country at Milton Keynes National Badminton Centre, part of a squad of five girls and five boys.
