Lanark and ’Gow ready for Clydesdale derby

A BIG crowd is expected at Moor Park this afternoon as local rivals Lanark United and Lesmahagow clash.

Both sides are at opposite ends of the table with United battling relegation and ’Gow going for promotion.

However, Lanark manager John Brogan will be hoping Robert Irving’s men are suffering from a Scottish Cup hangover.

Elsewhere in Central Division 1, Colin Slater’s Carluke face St Anthony’s full of confidence a good recent run of form while down in Central Division 2, Forth Wanderers host Newmains.

Kick-off for all the junior games is at 2pm.

Elsewhere Gavin Blackburn’s young Biggar Rugby side will be hoping to put more points on the board as they battle relegation.

They face Dundee HSFP at Hartreemill with a 12.30pm kick-off.
