Lanark Cornets Club Sportsman’s Brunch raises £3268

THE outstanding generosity of local people means that four disabled youngsters from Lanark’s Stanmore House School will be able to go on an exciting five-day Adventure Holiday in England’s Kielder Forest again next May.

A fantastic £3268 raised from ticket and raffle sales at a recent Lanark Cornets Club Sportsman’s Brunch will be split 50/50 between the Adventure Holiday from May 14 to 18, 2012 and club funds.

Adventure Holiday organiser Gordon McGregor said: “This week has been going for 19 years and is fantastic for the youngsters’ self-esteem and getting them involved in outdoor activities.”
