Lanark girl Amy Keenan is junior runner-up in Scottish Auto-Grass Championships

IN her very first season competing in the Scottish Auto-Grass Championships, 13-year-old Lanark girl Amy Keenan amazed organisers by finishing as overall runner-up in the Class 1 junior category.

Amy (13), of St Leonard Street, excelled in her Nissan Micra throughout the year in an exciting sport which sees competitors blasting round a grass oval track at speeds of up to 45mph.

“Amy is delighted to be runner-up in her first season,” her dad Bert said.
