Lanark pupil Lyle Walker is belter at Bratislava TKD
LANARK Grammar School pupil Lyle Walker (16), of Carstairs, made a significant impact at taekwon-do’s prestigious ITF European Championships in Bratislava.
Lyle, competing at an event which saw 32 different countries represented from October 20 to 23, excelled on his first foray into top level international competition.
He progressed through three rounds on day one, when he fought hard and was tested to his limit throughout.
This qualified Lyle for the quarter-finals.
