Lanark swimmers’ West District wave of glory

Lanark Amateur Swimming Club enjoyed a brilliant meet as their swimmers won 10 titles and took 12 silvers and one bronze medal at the West District Championships in Cumbernauld.

Ross McCafferty continued his recent run of success in the 16 years and over age group, by winning the 100m backstroke in a spectacular club record time of 57.68 seconds.

Ross also won the 200m IM in a club record of 2mins 09.18secs.
