Lanark’s Amy Keenan wins Scottish Autograss Under-16 Championship

LANARK motorsport star Amy Keenan, of St Leonard Street, comfortably won this year’s Scottish Autograss Under-16 Championships, despite being the only female competitor.

The 14-year-old Lanark Grammar pupil, driving a white Nissan Micra, recorded wins at eight of the 12 race meetings in what was an incredible season for her.

“Amy told me that the day she won the championship was the best one of her life,” said her dad Bert.
