Lanark’s Mhairi Jessup is just champion
LANARK lass Mhairi Jessup has well and truly made her point once again in the field archery arena, by recording an under-13 Scottish record 466 points out of 560 in the Hunter Round of a national competition.
This astonishing score on day two helped West Lothian Archers member Mhairi (12) retain her under-13 Scottish Outdoor Championships title.
“Mhairi did absolutely brilliantly to win with a Scottish record,” said her delighted dad Jim.
