Law AAC girls win Scottish Athletics Championship silver medals

A PAIR of 13-year-old Law and District Amateur Athletics Club girls from Carluke won a total of four silver medals between them at this month’s Scottish Athletics National Championships in Scotstoun.

Pamela McNicol, of Glen Shee Court, had respective personal bests of 2mins 23.66secs and 4.61m in the 800m and long jump and also took high jump silver thanks to a leap of 1.35m.

And General Roy Way girl Kristen Cowe’s silver medal came thanks to a personal best throw of 31.05m in the hammer.
