Law Athletics Club ladies win bronze at National Cross-Country relay
THE Law and District Amateur Athletics Club Ladies Masters team members were far from cross with their result at the Scottish National Cross Country Relay Championships in Cumbernauld.
At an event featuring over 1000 athletes, new members Hilary McGrath (48), Sally Burns (43) and 2011 World Triathlon bronze medallist Shona Girdwood (41) won bronze in the Masters Women’s race.
Hilary said after the race: “Competing for the club is great fun and has given my training a whole new impetus.”
