Law club’s Julie Dobbin wins athletics gold
STAR performer for Law and District Amateur Athletics Club at the recent two-day Age Group Championships at Glasgow’s Scotstoun Stadium was 17-year-old Julie Dobbin.
Julie ran a personal best of 45.95secs in the U18 300m hurdles at the national event, winning gold with a superbly executed final run having comfortably winning her heat earlier in the day.
On day two, Julie added to her under-18 title by winning the U20 400m hurdles in 68.85secs.
