Law couple get advice from Goodhew

A LAW couple currently in training for the world’s biggest fundraising swim in Glasgow this April have benefited from a coaching session with former Olympic champion Duncan Goodhew.

Alan and Laura Jackson, of Whiteshaw Road, owners of Venture Photography in Glasgow, are swimming 6.5km between them at Tollcross Pool on April 17.

Having lost close friends and family to cancer, they were keen to be among 22,000 swimmers attempting to raise more than £2 million for Marie Curie Cancer Care and the Swimathon Foundation.

Aland (53) said: “It was a real honour to meet Duncan, who gave us some useful training tips.”
