Leon lands silver and bronze
A Kirkintilloch youngster completed a highly successful year in Ultimate Tae kwon do rainbow tigers with a medal double at last week's Scottish open championships.
Seven-year-old Leon Hosie won a silver and a bronze medal and during the past year has won five trophies and nine medals as well as becoming an inter-club champion at his grade.
The St Flannan’s Primary School pupil, from Kennilworth Avenue, is a member of the Banknock Dojo, whose chief instructor is 5th Dan Master Cowan.
Master Cowan is well respected in world Tae Kwon do circles, having officiated at both the Rio Olympics and Paralympics.
