Lesmahagow bowlers John Meikle and Greg McLaughlin retain Scottish Junior Pairs under-17 title
LESMAHAGOW Bowling Club juniors John Meikle and Greg McLaughlin have retained their Scottish Junior Pairs under-17 title in sensational style.
The pair of 16-year-olds had already come through pre-qualifying at Dalserf prior to contesting five round robin games at the prestigious national finals in Ayr Northfield. They went on to seal a comeback semi-final victory before a comprehensive 15-2 triumph in the final over a pair from Lockerbie.
