Goals by Jamie Hamilton, Johnny Logan (2) and Jack Taylor (penalty) took ’Gow into the fourth round of junior football’s holy grail, the Scottish Junior Cup.

In Central Division 1, Carluke Rovers produced a storming comeback to thump local rivals Lanark United 5-2 at Moor Park.

In Central Division 2, Forth followed up last week’s win over Glasgow Perthshire with a 1-0 away win against Newmains.

And there was more success for Biggar Rugby as they secured a narrow 24-22 against Jed-Forest but there was disappointment for Lanark as they narrowly lost 8-3 to Wigtownshire.
