Craig becomes the first member of Tryst Lions Wrestling Club to win a medal at the British Senior Championships since Steven McKeown took home silver at the 1999 championships in London. The British Seniors is the biggest tournament in Britain with hundreds of entries with many of the best wrestlers in the UK competing for medals which included several commonwealth medallists in both male and female categories. Due to this, any trophy won is viewed as extremely prestigious.

Lee McKeown, Nathan Ferguson, Lewis Waddell, Stuart McKay, Dawid Czubak and Cameron McKay also wrestled. Although they did not medal, they did well to compete against difficult opposition.
