WELLSFIELD Trout Fishery - All three lochans fished very well throughout the course of last week.

Best flies this week: Green/Black Nomad, HH Damsel, Black Buzzer, Coral Dancer, Holo Diawl Bachs. Best baits: maggots, worms and Mepp Spinners.

Best catches for this week:

Romano FFC (West Linton) 23 fish for 71lb 4oz; Rowyards FC (Airdrie) 13 fish for 31lb.

B. Buchan (Glasgow) sixe for 17lb in two visits. A. Peat (Bonnybridge) five for 14lb 8oz; W. Morrison (Alloa) five for 15lb; J. Wilkie (Bishopbriggs) five for 15lb all bait; C. Liddle (Clydebank) five for 15lb.

N. Graham (Bonnybridge) four for 18lb, best 9lb 4oz rainbow trout; T. Scott (Elderslie) four for 12lb 4oz; J. Burton (Kirkintilloch) four for 12lb; A. Rankine (Falkirk) four for 12lb; R.
