Motherwell stars visit Coalburn Leisure Complex

MOTHERWELL stars Tom Hateley and Giles Coke reflected on their first season with the Steelmen as they helped Clydesdale kids get active.

The players were at Coalburn Leisure Complex as part of its Community Health Week and took part in a light training session in the centre's gym, plus activities outside as well as signing autographs.

Visits like this are just part and parcel of being a professional footballer, but both players enjoyed their experience.

Tom said: "It's great to come out here and see how various projects like this are doing. It's great to see so many kids here."

Giles added: "Normally we try to get out at least once a month and see how people are getting involved in projects like this. I've really enjoyed it."

Both players joined the Steelmen in the summer with Hateley, son of Rangers legend Mark, signing on from Reading and Coke from Northampton Town.

It has been an up and down season for the Fir Park side.
