Motherwell start with Rangers clash

Motherwell will play Rangers at Fir Park in an intriguing start to Group F of the new-look Betfred League Cup.

The two Premiership sides will clash on Saturday, July 16, with a 3pm kick-off and the game being televised live on BT Sport.

Motherwell will continue their campaign at Annan on Saturday, July 23, kick-off 3pm, before playing a home game against East Stirling on Tuesday, July 26 (7.45pm) and ending the group at Stranraer on Saturday, July 30, kick-off 3pm.

Eight group winners and the four best runners-up will qualify for the second round in August.
