THE Red Triangle is holding a charity pool team event on Saturday, February 4 in memory of Alister Tetsil who was the general manager at the Triangle for many years. He sadly passed away a few weeks ago after a long fight with cancer.

There are currently eight teams of 11 players, but the club are hoping for a few more participating.

The club is donating £300 to Strathcarron Hospice which was the family’s choice of charity, and there will be a prize raffle with all proceeds also going to the hospice.

Pat Holtz, Scotland’s number one ranked pool player and current Scottish Champion will be visiting from 1 pm till 6 pm to provide some exhibition play. Pat is travelling all over Scotland to help raise money for two charities himself, Marie Curie Cancer and Children’s Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS).

The event gets under way at 10.30 a.m.
