Must win game for Biggar Rugby this Saturday

Hillhead have lost every one of their 14 fixtures in BT National Division 1 this season, with Biggar second bottom of the table having accumulated 23 points from their 13 games.

With two teams relegated at the end of the season, Biggar know that nothing less than a win against Hillhead will do.

Head coach Gavin Blackburn said: “It is definitely a must-win game, although Hillhead are at home and will provide a tough test.

“Mentally, we need to be focussed on the job in hand.

“I’m sure if we do that we will win the game.

“One of the things I have stressed to the players is that we must concentrate on ourselves and not worry about other teams.

“If we get our mental focus right on a game day we can compete with and beat anyone in this league.”
