Newly-formed Biggar FC qualify for Collie Cup Final
HAVING been founded only this summer, the talented players of amateur outfit Biggar FC have already qualified for a cup final!
The Biggar lads – cobbled together by a small group of players including John Murphy – beat Gordon 5-3 at home in Saturday’s Collie Cup semi-final. Goals were scored by Brian Sheridan, Tom McDonald, Andrew Jackson and William Watson (2).
