Nick is Feely-ing good to be in first team

CLYDE may have slipped to ninth in division three after Saturday’s defeat to Elgin City, but goalkeeper Nick Feely is just happy to be gaining first team experience as he tries to make it at Celtic.

The 19-year-old Australian has extended his loan spell at Broadwood until the end of the season and hopes to follow in the footsteps of Pat Bonner, Stewart Kean and David Marshall to come through the ranks at Parkhead to claim the number one jersey.

He said: “I need some playing experience to develop. I can’t get that at Celtic so moving to Clyde was just what I needed.
