United played hosts to newly-promoted Dumfriesshire side Kello Rovers who travelled to Cumbernauld looking to protect their 100% league record.

With the kick-off delayed almost two hours due to traffic problems, the four-hour bus journey appeared to have little effect on the visitors, who continued their impressive start to the season.
