Pearson could leave 'Well for India
In what could be a major blow to Motherwell, manager Mark McGhee has told the Motherwell Times that influential midfielder Stephen Pearson could be set to leave the club and move to India.
Pearson (33), played 17 games for Kerala Blasters in the Indian Super League two seasons ago.
And McGhee is concerned that the goalscoring midfielder – who netted seven times for ’Well last season – may head out to India once again.
“There is the possibility that Pearo could go back to India,” McGhee said.
’Well’s pre-season training will start next Monday, June 27.
