Maxwell spoke to Herald Sport this week following the fourth postponement in as many weeks - due to an unplayable frozen pitch at Dunterlie Park, where they were hoping to play Arthurlie FC for a place in the 5th round.
The manager said: “It has been a frustrating time, but I am 90 per cent sure that the match will go ahead this weekend.

“This has been the fourth time it has been postponed, and the winner of this game will be playing Penicuik the following week.”
Maxwell reckoned this Saturday’s game would be tough but said the squad were up for the challenge.
He added: “The stage is set and we will be going out there with just one thought in our minds - to win. Arthurlie are a strong side and there is no doubt it will be a tough game, but we just need to go out and perform on the day as I know we can.
“Scottish Cup games are something special. There is a different feel to them from league games and it makes a welcome change to play in them.”

Whatever the outcome on Saturday, Maxwell said the experience of playing a team like Arthurlie will not be wasted on the players who are keen to get back to competitive play after so many weeks off the pitch.
