Racehorse Cadger’s Brig wins for Biggar owner Jock Allan
BIGGAR farmer Jock Allan recently celebrated his first win as a racehorse breeder/owner, at the age of 88.
Jock, of Burghmuir Farm, watched on TV as talented gelding Cadger’s Brig – trained at Carluke’s Belstane Stables by Keith Dalgleish – won a mile and a half race on the all-weather course at Wolverhampton on December 2.
