Rachel Barr champions Olympic Games

QUOTHQUAN teenager Rachel Barr simply can’t speak highly enough about her time spent as an eventing volunteer at the recent Olympic Games in London.

Rachel (18), of Parkhouse Farm, loved assisting as a crossing point steward for the cross-country course in Greenwich Park on a day in which Great Britain won a team silver medal.

“It was an absolutely phenomenal few days,” Rachel said.

“The atmosphere was incredible from start to finish. London was bouncing.

“The highlight for me was just being part of it. It was an honour to be part of something so prestigious which the whole world was watching.”
