The Bishopbriggs club’s recent annual prizegiving highlighted the improvement of the quality of the swimmers within the club as it celebrated 27 club speed records being broken over the past 12 months.

This included the 50m backstroke mark broken by Ross Campbell which had stood since 1997.

Also highlighted were up and coming swimmers Caitlin McLeod, Fraser Baird, Layla Boni, Ben Watchorn, Olivia Boni and David Docherty whose times had improved the most over the past 12 months in all strokes.
