Biggar Rugby vets prove they’re still fighting fit!
BIGGAR Rugby Club over-35s showed there was life in the old dogs yet by beating their Peebles counterparts 26-17 at Biggar Showfield last Saturday.
Biggar won the match by recording four tries to three, in a contest in which the combined age of the players on the park was 1400 years.
This fixture is now one of the most eagerly awaited and while it may be played at a slightly more gentle pace than the senior version, there was never any shirking in contact.
