Seven Lanark swimming golds at West Districts
LANARK Amateur Swim-ming Club members won a magnificent seven titles at the recent West District Long Course Championships.
Leading the medal charge at Tollcross was 12-year-old Cameron Watkins, who won six gold and two bronze medals from his eight swims in the 10–12 years section.
Gold medals came in the 50m back, 100m back, 200m breast, 50m free, 100m free and 200m IM. His two thirds were in 100m butterfly and 100m breaststroke.
