The team, which was the biggest to enter the competition, wore custom designed and unique Scotland shirts, sponsored by local companies including Cumbernauld firm Maccass and Co Accounting Services.

Ahead of the event, the team trained hard individually and also had three group training sessions in Strathclyde park, Callendar Park and Vogrie Country Park.

Amanda said: “It’s great to get the chance to represent Scotland and to wear the Scotland shirt. We started Canicross as something to do with our border collie as he requires a lot of exercise and we wanted to keep fit. Canicross was just the thing for fun and fitness.” For more, http://canisportsscotland.com.
