Still time to move up the leagues
THE Inter Club League has now reached the half way stage and all sections of the Cumbernauld Indoor Bowling Club are still keenly contesting every game. However, the results have not gone their way so far this year, but there is till time to move up the leagues.
The Ladies were away to Stirling on November 5, but lost their game, falling away in the latter stages. However, hopes were high of reversing that result when Stirling came to the Cumbernauld Stadium on November 12. This game was very well contested and the result was in doubt right until the end. Unfortunately the bowls ran for Stirling over the last two ends and they ran out winners by four shots. Cumbernauld skips results: R. McIntyre lost 17-20; J. Miller lost 18-24; A. Cairnie lost 14-23; S. Wilson won 23-9.
