Swimmer Mark Ford wins South Lanarkshire medals
DEDICATED swimmer Mark Ford (11), of Station Road, Carluke, is training six days a week in his bid for glory in the pool.
Lanark Swimming Club member Mark even gets up at 5.30am twice a week, dedication which helped him win three gold medals at the South Lanarkshire Council Schools Swimming Championships.
The St Athanasius Primary School pupil’s mum Ann-Marie said: “I’m very proud of Mark’s achievements. He puts a lot of effort into his swimming and he is very enthusiastic about it.
