Swimmers successful in City of Glasgow Open
MEMBERS of Cumbernauld Swim Team had a very successful time at the City of Glasgow Open long course meet, with a massive 31 personal bests on the Saturday and 40 personal bests on the Sunday.
The following swimmers also received medal positions: Sarah Frobisher, gold 50m freestyle. This was a great swim by Sarah. Her brother Kris also had an outstanding swim receiving silver in U12 400m freestyle. Also receiving medals: Zuhayr Siddiqui, silver 50m backstroke, bronze 100m backstroke; Leanne Marshall, silver 200IM, 50m fly; Jennifer Ward bronze 200m fly. Coach Trisha Naidoo said this was a fantastic weekend with lots of super swims and personal bests.
