The Grand Slam of Darts has reached the quarter-final stage and there is still a strong Scottish representation with Gary Anderson and Cameron Menzies both flying the saltire in Wolverhampton this week.
Darts has grown in popularity worldwide over the years, with professional players now competing for huge prize funds in front of sold-out arenas across the UK, Europe and beyond, with the eagerly-anticipated Premier League night in Glasgow a must for any avid lover of the sport.
There have been a number of successful Scotsman throughout the decades who have graced the oche and lifted some of darts’ biggest trophies - with a couple of throwers in this list who have helped to shape and contribute significantly to help take the sport to new heights.
