the Weather wins again

BY the time Kilsyth Rangers and Armadale Thistle actually meet on the pitch for their Scottish Cup replay they will be sick of one another.

The two sides were left disappointed yet again at the weekend as their round three replay was postponed for the third time.

The teams originally met at Duncansfield on November 26, where they played out a one-all draw, thus requiring a second meeting at Volunteer Park.

As the Scottish Cup takes precedence over all other competitions, with teams required to complete their ties before any other fixtures can proceed, the sides have been trapped in a monotonous cycle of deja vu, with no end in sight.

Meanwhile, Cumbernauld United’s New Coin Automatics Cup second round tie at Rutherglen Glencairn also fell victim to the weather at the weekend.

The game has now been rescheduled for January 7.
