Tricky start for Cumbernauld

FOLLOWING Cumbernauld's promotion to National Division 3, news has come through that the new league season for the 1st XV kicks-off with a tricky trip away to Hawick on August 28.

This season will be no push-over, as National 3 is a definite step up in opposition, but there appears no reason why Cumbernauld cannot continue the growth and development they've shown over the past few seasons.

The first home tie for the 1st Xv is on September 4, against Ross High.
