Tristan Davidson romps home in Overton Farm point to point
ACE jockey Tristan Davidson proved that he could be considered to be The Fastest Milkman in the West at Overton Farm in Crossford on Saturday!
For, in front of a packed crowd of around 5000 spectators enjoying fine spring conditions for two pony races and seven point to point contests, milkman Tristan won the 2.30pm Men’s Open Race on Irish favourite Indian Print.
Overton Farm owner Willie Young said: “Tristan had been delivering milk in the Carlisle area at 5am on Saturday. But it didn’t stop him coming up here and winning the big race.”
