Trophy hat-trick for bowlers

AFTER last week’s success for Greenfaulds’ men, when they won the Glasgow Bowling Association Top 5 competition, the gents have also taken the Kirkintilloch and District Top 10 competition.

The final, against Westermains Bowling Club at Stepps was a tense affair which ended two games each.

However, Greenfaulds were left celebrating when were narrowly awarded the victory overall on shots countback.

And not to be overshadowed, the Greenfaulds ladies have also enjoyed success this year, winning the Kirkintilloch and District League for a tenth time to add to what has been a memorbale year for the club.
