Winter whiteout for sporting card
SNOW and ice-covered pitches led to the postponement of all of the matches involving Clydesdale’s four junior football teams and the adult rugby teams of Biggar and Lanark last weekend.
In a rare example of local sporting sides playing competitive fixtures, the respective under-15 sides of Biggar Rugby Club boys and girls were both victorious on the west coast.
