Youngsters are on the ball at football festival
The Lenzie Youth Football Festival got off to a flying start with over 200 youngsters playing “fun Fours” on Saturday in the 2006 and 2007 age groups.
In the 2006 age group Dumbarton Riverside won the “most sporting team” trophy, and in 2007 the winner was Milton Boys Club.
With 15 games going on at any one time it got really hectic, but the day and the weather was greatly enjoyed.
The 2004 “soccer sevens” on Sunday served up close games and great enjoyment, the two clubs winning the “most sporting team” tropy were Carbrain from Cumbernauld and local EDFC.
