His orginal composition Vodka Lemon Lime was selected as one of three winners in the inaugural International Song Competition from Only Entertainment.

Written back in 2012, when Gordon was just 18-years-old, it talks about his experience of going out to clubs at that age, and finding that the scene there wasn’t really for him, preferring instead to build a longer lasting relationship the traditional way.

Recorded at the Foundry Music Lab in Flemington the track features Wet Wet Wet guitarist Graeme Duffin.

It is now being published by Only Entertainment on all well known digital music outlets including iTunes, Google Play Music, Amazon Music and Deezer, as well as being sent to 5,000 radio stations around the world.

Gordon (22) said “I am extremely pleased and humbled to win this competition.

“It really means a lot to me to have my own music recognised in this way, and on a world-wide scale.

“Hopefully this is the first of many!”
