Wine Circle

Stamperland Wine Circle welcomes new members who have an interest in understanding more about wine and the enjoyment associated with it.

Club members enjoy tastings, displays by leading distributors and the matching of different wines to certain kinds of food. There will be demonstrations on how to make wine and an opportunity to chat about to making your own very drinkable varieties. Magic of Showbiz

Eastwood Choral Society

Come and join our vibrant mixed voice adult choir. All voices welcome (particularly tenors!) No auditions required. Our repertoire is largely choral and classical. Community Dig

During March, Northlight Heritage will be running a community dig and a range of exciting activities and events in Govan Old Parish Churchyard. The dig will be open to visitors daily from Tuesday to Saturday, 10am - 4pm.

Des McLean & Gary Little

Multi-award winning comics Gary Little and Des McLean bring their 2019 stand up tour to Eastwood Park Theatre for one night only from 7.30pm.

Wine for beginners

The Butterfly and the Pig South will be hosting a wine tasting night for beginners. From 7-10pm.

Sisters & Seamonsters

In recognition of International Women’s day musicians, comedians and poets join singer-songwriter Chiara Berardelli who launches her one woman show Seamonster, the Story about her experience of being childless not by choice and her quest for being ok with that. At the Glad Cafe from 7.30pm. All proceeds go to the Ubuntu Women’s Shelter.

Big Bike Sale

NDT Cycling are holding their next Big Bike Sale at their hub in Rouken Glen Park, come along and pick up a fully reconditioned secondhand bike. From noon-3pm.

Exhibition and sale

Hundreds of original works of art will be on display at the 39th annual Clarkston Christian Aid Art Exhibition and Sale at Carmichael Hall, Eastwood Park from 10am-4pm.

Birthday Big Brew

Newton Mearns Baptist Church is hosting a special edition 40th Birthday Big Brew, celebrating 40 years of the Traidcraft family. There will be cakes, retro party games, challenges and stalls. From 2-4pm.

Saturday talk

The Friends of Greenbank Garden March Saturday Talk will take place at 2pm in the Coach House at Greenbank. The speaker, Richard Williams, NTS General Manager, Glasgow and West, will discuss “National Trust: conservation, access and relevance in the 21st century”. Brewery Day Out

The East Renfrewshire & Lanarkshire Craft Beer Group is hosting a Big Glasgow Brewery Day Out visitingWEST On The Green, Drygate @ Tennents Wellpark Brewery and then Shilling Brewing Co in the city centre. The day starts at noon and finishes at 6:30pm.
